Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for a human resources generalist to handle HR initiatives, policies, and processes for our privately held ecological consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The new HR generalist would be a key member of our business management team which provides human resources, accounting, finance, business analysis, marketing, administration, geographic information science, health and safety, and IT support to the work of our company’s ecologists and landscape architect consultants. This position will report to our Senior HR Manager and Business Analyst. This position may be a hybrid of remote and in-person based out of our Los Gatos office. The anticipated pay range for this position is $74,500 – $87,000 annually. Actual compensation within the range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Ideal qualifications

Training and skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 3-5 years of work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility in HR
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws (CA and HI) and regulations pertaining to HR management and wave laws
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll processing system; ADP WFN is a plus
  • Proficient with using spreadsheets to perform data analysis
  • Exceptional verbal communication
  • Strong writing skills
