Cristy Rice is a senior wildlife ecologist and project manager in the Sacramento Valley office with nearly a decade of experience. She is well-versed in working with a variety of special-status species in California, such as California red-legged frog, least Bell’s vireo, steelhead trout, burrowing owl, and desert tortoise. Cristy’s wildlife ecology expertise and knowledge of regulatory agency permitting allows her to effectively steward processes to obtain permits for a range of projects. Throughout her career she has provided biological consulting services on large projects in the utility, solar, and public sectors. Cristy leads project teams in conducting special-status population surveys, impact analyses, and habitat assessments.
Cristy received a B.S. in Marine Biology from California State University, Fullerton.
