Megan Richards, P.L.A.

Landscape Architecture

Megan Richards is a senior landscape architect and project manager in the San Francisco Bay Area office. She has 15 years of experience in landscape architecture and is a certified arborist and qualified firescaping professional. Megan also has a strong background in horticulture. The majority of her project experience has been in the San Francisco Bay Area, ranging from a Complete Streets project in Contra Costa County to a public park at Cooley Landing in San Mateo County to a post-fire roadway project in Sonoma County. Her graduate project, “22nd Street Missing Link: Choreographing the Urban Watershed” won the ASLA-NCC Award of Excellence. Megan leads project teams at the intersection of the urban environment and the natural world. She contributes to master plans, develops conceptual designs, and prepares construction documents in support of the design and planning process for various project types, including trail and open space and habitat restoration projects. Megan also provides arborist services in connection with restoration and landscape architecture projects.

Megan has a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley Extension and a B.A. in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
