Ryan Hegstad is a senior restoration ecologist and project manager in our San Francisco Bay Area office with 7 years of professional experience. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and is also trained in botany. Ryan has particular expertise in California sycamores and restoring Sycamore Alluvial Woodland habitat and is at the forefront of this field.
Ryan received an M.S. in organismal biology, ecology, and evolution from the University of Montana and a B.S. in plant sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
